AXEL SHEFFLER, Showing you how to DRAW AN ELEPHANT

Tale2Tail believe in supporting children and helping them engage with the natural beauty of our planet and its wildlife.  Axel Scheffler is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed illustrator of some of the most well-loved children’s books, such as The Gruffalo and A Squash and a Squeeze. His books have been published in many languages and his work has been exhibited all around the world.  Here, Axel supports Tale2Tail by providing three illustrations how to draw an Elephant, where he demonstrates his sketches and finishing touches.  You can also download more support from Axel, such as the challenges of pencil drawing a Rhino, and how to draw less familiar species, such as Pangolin, one the worlds most trafficked species.  Tale2Tail believes that by providing parents and children with resources, we can help change attitudes around the world. 

 

DAVID YARROW giving CHILDREN helpful photography tips.

Tale2Tail believes that by engaging children, and helping them understand and appreciate the natural world, we can make a difference, now and into the future.  David Yarrow is considered one of the best-selling photographers in the world.  He enjoys documenting the natural world and using the camera to tell stories.  Here, David supports Tale2Tail by giving helpful tips for young wildlife photographers.  You can download more support from David, such as the challenges of photographing Elephant and Rhino, and how to capture on film the quality that makes each animal special.
